LARGE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS & PANELS

Description: In this double bordered, circular stained glass panel, a wolf peers out from behind a rock pile. His glowing yellow eyes are the highlight of this piece. The back ground consists of a mountainous area and silhouetted trees made from metal overlays. Making the rocks part of the inner border brings them forward, creating distinguishable depth to the background. The sky is made from clear and white streaky glass giving the effect of high, wispy clouds. The outer border is a dark green translucent color and the inner border is clear or a light color that compliments the outer border. Twisted lead is attached to the outside of the circle to give it a decorative finish. Solder lines are antiqued with a black patina to blend in with the natural theme. 18'' Diameter.

Description: Male and female cardinals face each other as they perch on bare tree branches in this circular stained glass hanging piece. The cardinals are cut from the same glass with darker reds used for the male and clearer parts used to depict the female. The circular border can be a bronze colored, lightly textured glass or a clear "Jack Frost" patterned glass. (Bronze textured glass is pictured here - Clear "Jack Frost can be seen in the Large Double Chickadee Circle picture). The branches are individually cut from lead strips and tinned with solder. While the general placement of the branches is similar in each circle, the actual shape of the branches is unique to every piece. The background in this piece is open. Description: In this oval shaped stained glass panel a Great Blue Heron stands quietly in the blue and green water, among the cattails. Several different blues are used to depict the realistic colors of the bird. The outer border is a lightly textured steel blue and the inner border is a lighter complimentary color. Some of the cattails come out of the inner border while others do not to create depth. A twisted piece of lead surrounds the panel to create a finished border. Solder lines are antiqued with black patina to blend in with the natural look of the bird and surroundings. 16'' x 25''.

Description: A Loon quietly floats among cattails in this attractive stained glass oval. The black and white Loon is depicted using a metal overlay on it's white glass back and wire accent lines on the neck to create the spotted look of the feathers. The metal is treated with black patina to match the black of the bird. The only color in the Loon is the red eye. The dark blue and green water is scattered with cattails. A clear swirled textured glass is used for the sky. The border glass is a soft textured grey while a twisted piece of lead finishes the outside of the border. 16'' x 12''.
